No strawberries, a little steam

I'd been looking forward to the annual strawberries and steam gathering for the last 364 days. Sadly this year it had to be cancelled due to the huge rainfall here in the past few days. The ground was simply too soft for the huge Steam Engines to drive on without causing damage. Usually in years gone by it has been a bit of a dust bowl. This year is very, very wet.




Later on during the day I was heading into Swindon and noted that the message cannot have reached all the enthusiasts and in a truly British manner some engines still made it to the pub. Hooray!
