Count down to new life

At 00:30 this morning Liz woke me to tell me her contractions had started. I'd gone to bed early thank goodness!

Liz phoned her Mum and 45 mins later we drove 5mins down the road to the hospital leaving Olwen with the children.

By now contractions were coming every few minutes. An hour or so later they had less urgency.

It 5:30 now. I'm back home, Liz is in a room at the hospital trying to sleep and I am waiting for the phone call to tell me its all started again. Exciting stuff!

Best of all Liz had a QR Code on her tag and my cell phone could read it! I like that. See earlier post on these codes.
