Another girl in the neighbourhood

It just dawned on me that Millie is another girl in the neighbourhood. If I'm not mistaken, girls out number boys about 3 to 1 in Bishopstone. Why should that be?

Anyway - here's my favourite track in the whole world, ever, always, all about "another girl in the neighbourhood". John Peel had this played at his funeral. I first heard it as a teenager lying in my bed late at night probably some time in 1977 or 1978 listening to "Peely" on Radio One and have absolutely loved it's raw tone and "played by a bunch of kids from down the road" sound ever since.

I give you - The Undertones: Teenage Kicks.
