Have less children and reduce CO2 emissions
Here's the report

And here's what Jonathon Porritt has to say about it.

With 4 children of my own what do I do...?

Hmmmm.
Potentially very dodgey terroritory to be in.
I think theres some horrific side effects of trying to restrict or choose the number of births your population might have.
There's also practical issues for some countries eg ageing population.
This has troubled me on and off all day. I feel like something of a pariah now.
One thing I wonder about in respect of the UK is how many of the predicted 10 million increase in population in the report are people immigrating into the UK vs how many born to people already here.
Stopping immigration would harm our ecconomy so I hear all the time... but would it in the long term if it meant less people living here...?
I wouldn't give yourself a hard time.
My head is spinning trying to understand this whole issue, mainly becuase it spins off into economics, sustainablity, capitalism, racism, human behaviour, democracy, freedom of choice, government and 101 other areas.
In Australia they encourage you to have at least 3 children - 1 for Mum, 1 for Dad and 1 for Australia!
focal problem is non-existance of seriuos International,World-Wide! democratic plan and politics. Everything is connected, so no matter where you live on Earth, it reflects on whole Eco-system
