Anti Apathy - want a good Nag?

Got this today and thought "why not" - so did it....

---
If you're someone who wants to do something about climate change, or sweatshops, or eating better food, but well, you know... busy, things come up... Then The Nag, www.thenag.net, is for you.

What is it?

The Nag is Anti-Apathy's boisterous new web campaign that makes it very easy for you to do one thing a month to live more sustainably, taking you step-by-step through one low-effort, high-impact action around a lifestyle theme such as energy, food or fashion.

How it works.

* Sign up and, while you’re at it, do Nag #1: switch to green energy. Always thought about it, but never got around to it? The Nag gives you all the help you need by showing you the best options and helping you switch in just 10 minutes. It costs about the same and reduces your home’s CO2 emissions by about 2 tonnes a year. (If you've already done it, can’t, or don’t want to do it, you simply skip it until the next month's nag arrives.)

* Get one email a month directing you to the site for a new 'nag' on the next theme.

* Once you've joined, you'll be able to invite friends and see how many of them have signed up because of you. Eventually, you'll be connected to others taking part from your work, your street and your city, making up what we hope to be the first ever social and environmental networking map of the UK. The Nag's unique software will track 'nag activity’ and calculate the collective impact as more and more people start to take part.

What's the point?

The Nag is an experiment to see how many people doing the same action it takes to shift markets in a more sustainable direction. How many people switching to green energy would it take to require a new wind farm to be built, or a coal power station to shut down?

We want to find out.

So, that's it really. Sign up at www.thenag.net. Get nagged once a month.

And stay in touch.

Kind regards,

c/o Anti-Apathy

P.S. Come to the launch event on Monday 21st May, Nag Nights #1 - Strangelove: Sex and Climate Change - www.antiapathy.org.

P.S.S. Did I mention the Crap Prize Draw? Ever heard of a 'spargel schaler'?
