Several days off the beaten track

I've just arrived back in the civilised world. Though as I typed that the power went off!

I've been in the hills and mountain areas of Tamil Nadu with tribal farmers for the past few days with no electricity, no mobile signals and therefore no means to keep the blog up to date. I've got so much material I'm not really sure where to start.

So I'll have a think about it, and post just a few pictures for some flavour of the place and will pull together several posts over the next day or so.
