Back in San Francisco

I am now back in the San Francisco area, well to be precise in a rather nice Hilton Hotel on a marina in Berkeley which my friend Dee (thanks) suggested to me. It was a good price too.

Before leaving Monterey I forgot to return a wireless card to the head of the Organic Exchange. Woops. When I reached my hotel last night I checked my email and was gutted to discover her reminder to me. So I arranged to deliver it to the board meeting that was taking place this afternoon. By a complete quirk of fate the meeting was just a few hundred yards from where I am staying tonight. Why do these things happen? It could really have been anywhere, and I chose to stay almost next door. Wow.

I'm off in a moment back in to SF to meet up with my colleague Susannah and head out for some food. I've been driving more or less all day and just realised I didn't stop for lunch.
