Views of Manchester
I've never been to Manchester before. Somehow I expected a dark dreary place, full of those dark satanic mills in the hymn. BUT its a beautiful city with lovely buildings. Here's a bunch of pictures of the place.
City Tower - where I had my meeting this pm. All 28 floors of it.
Its a very cosmopolitan place. Something for everyone.
This is my hotel. Its not as glamorous as it looks. In fact it seems a bit seedy to me. Lots of young scruffy eastern european ladies hanging about outside...
They still have Trams here. I nearly got run down by one, stepped in front of it and it didn't slow down, I thought it was a bus.
I had a curry tonight ;-) in a very good award winning Punjabi Restaurant called EastZEast (http://www.eastzeast.com). The picture of the place doesn't look much, but click on it and you will see the fella in full Indian costume greeting diners at the door!
Whilst the food wasn't as "pretty" looking as in some Indian's I've been in, the flavours were superb. I had some grilled Tandoori style chicken livers as a starter followed by an excellent Bindi Gosht (Lamb cooked with okra) for my main course and a bottle of one of my favourite Ciders - Aspall's. A superb meal and less than £20.

WAIT!! You had HOOKERS out in front of your hotel?!? I am LMAO!
Who else has a killer bee attack, iced urinals and prostitutes outside their hotel all within 2 weeks?
I'm surprised people don't offer you money so they can travel with you! Always an adventure...
