Mabel's sports day
Once again superb weather in store for Mabel's sports day. I challenge anyone to show me a better setting for a primary school sports day. Prebendal Farm is one of my favourite places in Bishopstone. Even the Red Arrows did a display (it was for the passing out parade of the local military college which just happened to be on the same day...)
Mabel didn't win any of the races but she did enjoy taking part which is the key part of the event.
The parents race was a laugh as usual. We had to wear lions heads on ours and were chased by a lion tamer through a loop of fire (not real fire, but some hoops the kids had decorated with pretend flames). Lots of fun, our team won!

Red Arrows for your school too eh! Added a bit of excitement especially as we told the children it was just for them!!
