It's a Rat Trap

I was thinking about the crazy nature of all sorts of things earlier when I spoke to someone who imports organic cotton from India all the way to Brasil. Brasil grows lots of cotton but not much organic cotton, so to meet demand it comes from India and is often re-exported as finished product. What a crazy world it is. Something made me think Rat Trap and I turned to YouTube and found that someone has posted one of my all time favourite tracks up there. Rat Trap by the Boomtown Rats.

Here it is:

I must have been about 13 or so when this came out. A Tonic for the Troops was the very first album I ever purchased with my own money.

I note Bob Geldof is wearing a pair of red trousers (pants for the americans) - I've always been a fan of somewhat loud clothing, its been tamed over the years, but maybe this is where the influence came from and I'd forgotten.
