Day 1 - Sao Paulo
It has been a long day here. I've just arrived back at my room after a bite to eat. I was working until around 8.30pm on transferring a video from the web to a PC for use in a presentation tomorrow. The final cut I think has turned out OK. We'll see...
After we finished James, Alfonso and I wandered down to the end of the block and ate in a small road side cafe bar. I had delicious liver and onions served on rice with black beans and salad. All the food I've had in Brasil has been good. This was no exception. Total cost for 3 of us including a beer each was under £10!
I presented in a 90 minute workshop earlier in the day and watched many presentations where I struggled due to the language barrier. SO I'm now totally exhausted.
Tomorrow I need to do it all again. Including helping James (with the mic in the picture above) with his video presentation. Millie will get a beautiful little organic cotton dress (in exchange) made from several different naturally coloured cottons. I can't wait to see her in it. Above is a picture of the farmer who grew the cotton with the dress itself. All the way from Peru.
