BRANCH BBQ, Ducks and Rafts
The first (annual) BRANCH BBQ happened this evening down on the island on the pond.
There must have been 30 or so people there and a fine time was had by all. It was one of those laid back Bishy evenings that make Bishopstone such a wonderful place to live.
Here's some pictures which replace a million words.
Sue and Adrian show me the Duck rafts. At first I thought they were joking, but really these things are for the ducks to sit on in the middle of the pond. The idea being that they will be protected from the local predatory foxes.
A bunch of folks chilling under the apple tree.
Some lovely locally produced food.
The launch of the Duck rafts.
And the final resting place for them.
