Out with the exokans and sad news today
Blimey its been years since some of us met up and ate together.
On Tuesday night this week after a couple of swifties in the Walkabout we headed next door to Ashoka curry house and had a superb curry.
Here's the chaps. Great to see them all again. Thanks for pulling it together Rhys.

We all met for the first time at the pub next to my house - The True Heart pub, in 1999/2000. At the time I was CTO of eZoka.com a company I co-founded in 1999. We built the software and established the company in the back room of the pub. A year later we had I think 15 people working in there, and 53 people in total in London, Milan and Zurich.
I'll never forget asking my good friend Brian Hickton (landlord extraordinaire) if I could rent his back room to start a ".com". He was so supportive, and we shared many good and hard moments together as his and my business went through good and bad times.
Sadly I've heard that Brian passed away today. My fellow exokans and I were only discussing his health on Tuesday and I'd heard he was getting better. I can't quite believe its real. I know several people read this locally, and many of the exokans will be sad to hear this news.

As the days have moved on I've felt very odd. I can't believe he'll never call out again from the door of the pub at me as I park up in the evenings.... It seems so terribly premature, the village is a poorer place for his loss. We're all absolutely gutted.
I'd like to do a tribute post to him here as I know many people read this from Bishy. If you have any material or odd photos, wonderful stories etc, please send them in, I'll post it all here.
