I've always loved the impossibly small Fiat 500 of the 1960s. Not long ago I saw my first new Fiat 500 and wondered if there would be a hot Abarth version like there used to be of the old one. And sure enough I just stumbled on one...
I bought one of the new Mini's when they first came out (had it for a couple of years and nearly got what I paid for it when I sold it!), after having wanted one ever since I first saw the design sketches. Now I want one of these too... With the sensible one doing over 75miles per gallon - maybe it would be worth it and save me money. I could always imagine it was the Abarth version.
In my dreams. Silly man. I forget you have to put these things on, rather than get into them, and I am not really small enough...

This car was on Top Gear last night .. looked OK but wouldn't trust myself in it cos it's too small.
What you (and me) want is a Dodge Challenger .. that was on too :-)
Sadly what I "want" and "need" doesn't align... :-(
Actually what I want, what I really really want is to shove a huge hydrogen burning V8 in my old Rover... one day I am sure it will be possible to shove big powerful clean engines into old cars and have a laugh.
