Globe Artichokes at last

I meant to publish this with my other veg pictures yesterday. I finally got some decent sized Globe Artichokes from my plants. I planted them very late, but they did produce flowers and Liz, Mabel and I ate them last night. Very good they were too.



I was unsure if they would stand the frost, so picked them now just in case. Are they hardy plants that will grow again next year bigger than this? I do hope so. The flowers this year were a little small, but very tasty.
