My journey and views of Dhaka

I flew here over night from London on a Jet Air flight. It was one of the best flights I've ever had. Instead of the quite common 3 4 3 layout this was 3 3 3 which gave more width in the seats. Much better for me.

The food was superb, the red wine was good, the staff very friendly and the plane immaculate. I'd fly Jet again thats for sure.

I'm now here in Dhaka. I'm on the 11th floor of a very nice hotel. Here's the view from my bedroom window.

I've stayed in this hotel before, its very posh. Huge baths, big "heavenly showers" as they describe them...

Huge bed. Good food. Quiet. Close to my customer.

On arrival my credit card wouldn't accept on the check in desk. Minor panic - they have let me stay anyway, assuming I'll sort it out. Then just as I was running a bath there was a big "POP" and all the lights went out. I was plunged into darkness. I called reception. One of the bulbs had blown and tripped out the entire room. Fixed within minutes.

I've had supper with Farhan, done a quick demo to him and now I'm off to Befordshire, for a fine trip into the land of nod.
