Bishopstone Harvest Happening

Last night at 7pm Mabel and I headed off to Bishopstone Church to the Harvest Happening (Liz was already there to receive the puddings). An event put on every year for the past few years by Jane McCutchan and a band of helpers. This years theme was the history of Bishopstone. There's so much history here, the church dating back nearly a 1000 years and all sorts of stuff has happened here over the years. It was cold, wet and very windy. As we got to the church it was floodlit (well done Doug) and as we turned the corner we could smell the pig roasting.

For the first hour we queued for food (pig and pudding) and chatted. There were so many superb puddings to choose from, all delicious. There were over 100 people there I believe.

Then the main event started. I recorded most of it on my mobile phone and have placed it here for you to enjoy. The sound quality isn't brilliant, but should give you an idea of what it was like. Its an hour long - so if you want to listen make sure to leave plenty of time!
