Simon's Rabbit Curry

What an evening... England beat France in the semi final of the Rugby world cup. YAY!

And... I cooked Rabbit curry for the first time to my own recipe...

Here's how.

Ingredients

2x Jointed Rabbits
2tsp White Cumin Seeds
2tsp Black Cumin Seeds
1tbsp Ground Coriander
1/2 tsp Black Pepper coarsely ground
1x Small hot green chilli
3x large onions
4x sticks of celery chopped
2x Tins of Chopped Tomatoes
500ml Greek Yoghurt
salt to taste

Cook the onions, celery and spices together until golden brown. Add the boned rabbit and brown the meat. Add the tomatoes and simmer for 1hr (add a little water if necessary). Add the yoghurt and cook for another hour. Serve with basmati rice.

Delicious.

This is enough for 6 people at least I would say. I've plenty left for lunches next week.

Here's some pictures taken during cooking and of the finished dish.
