Over the channel to Utrecht

I'm in Utrecht tonight and most of tomorrow and if time allows I'll go into Amsterdam to meet up with some of the folks we work with there.

My journey here was via Birmingham Internation Airport and then train from Schipol Airport to Utrecht.




Nice touch in my hotel - the screen had my name on welcoming me...



Just got back from a meal in an English Pub over the road from my hotel here. Where I had a pint of Strongbow and a burger with Marian (rode a camel with her in India) and her boyfriend. Last time I was here I ate something like aligator... You can still smoke in the pubs here. Wonder what will happen to the "CAFEs" where one can smoke something a little stronger when the smoking bans come here too?
