What happened in the stats?
I had a sudden surge of visitors yesterday to my blog, the biggest surge I've ever seen since I started it.
I think it followed John Hicks (Hicksdesign - hello John!) posting a tweet on twitter saying the Scarecrow post I had just done was awesome - at least that accounts directly for around 25% of the increase. The remaining seems to have come from a bunch of other places picking it up too. I am really surprised that little fun post about Scarecrows in Wanborough caused such interest! Just goes to show what a weird world it is...

I'm afraid I might have contributed to a couple of additional "lookers on" to that Scarecrow post. That was neat!!
The next village to us hosts a scarecrow weekend - must find out when it is/was. Saw it a couple of years ago and it is quite eery driving through as there is a "person" in every garden, drive and even one outside the post office. Really good fun.
Simon, let me know what you use for your stat counters pls?
