Comments on my blog
To all the people who read my blog, I thank you all for all the comments you leave. I don't publish them all. But I do read them all. Some are from friends, some from people I have no chance of ever knowing and complete strangers. Several have been from long lost friends and many have been constructive criticism. I enjoy all of them.
Just lately though I have been getting lots and lots of spam comments which makes publishing and moderating tricky. Especially when I am away from home. I get the notification of a comment via email on my mobile phone, and can then publish the comment directly from there. But when I have 10s or more comments from spammers it become hard to do via the phone. So I apologise if it sometime takes time to publish or review a comment.
Just now I published a new item and within seconds over 10 new comments came in. All of them complete rubbish. Sorting the good from the bad isn't always easy. Grrr!
Sometimes I publish directly via a text message from my phone too - so if the contnt is a bit squiffy that could be why!

Yuk! I haven't gotten any rubbish comments yet on my posts (knock on wood). Don't WANT any, either!!
Somehow or another, tho, I got on several companies' (or their 'affiliates') mailing lists to my e-mail account. I've spent hours, literally, going through each one to find the "Unsubscribe" (to that which I never subscribed to in the first place!) notation. Usually, that's the one in such fine print that you need a magnifying glass to read it. Very slowly, but surely, I'm succeeding in ridding my inbox of unsolicited 'crap'. (Gotta call it like it is!)
I know how happy you must be to be home and have a nice outing with your family (next post).
