A day in Slovenia
I flew out to Slovenia from the Gatwick Airport in the UK last night arriving here at just after midnight earlier today. I was met by Bostjan the IUV driver and he brought me safely here to my hotel.
I've been at IUV/Romp today with our very first customer (from nearly 4 years ago) Greg Sturmer who has been turning round the biggest tannery in Europe making it carbon neutral and producing the finest leather in the world. We've been brainstorming methods of getting data from our systems into store with the product and discussing how we link with the internal systems used by IUV. It was an interesting and rewarding discussion.
Later Igor and his family took me into the lovely Ljubljana for a bit of sightseeing and a meal in a lovely old fashioned trattoria style building.
Here's some of the pictures of Ljubljana I took as we wandered around. You really should visit this place, its really beautiful and unspoiled (apart from a bit of sprayed art work the local youths seem to deface places with all over the world). This is just some of the many shots I took, I didn't want to post too many here!
