Beer, Beer, we want more Beer...

The landlord at the True Heart (the pub next to my house) has organised a beer festival for 4 days. Not bad for a little place. We have 22 beers of various types from Porters thru Lager beers made with Czech hops (the original Budweiser comes from Czechoslovakia not America which many people don't realise).

After a hard days graft knocking down walls, I had to sample several. Armed with a bunch of beer tokens, Paul, Doug, Karen and I tried a good few. My favourites are the dark porter style beers. There was something for everyone though. The pub looked good packed with so many barrells. Here's Doug with a big grin!

The place was heaving with people, many having come from miles away, all mixing with the locals in a happy friendly atmosphere. A good evening. Thanks Brian and Mandy.
