The long route to Pakistan
I'm off to Pakistan to train a number of people in a supply chain for a well known house furnishing company how to use our traceability service.
The majority of reports I've read on the Internet concerning Pakistan suggest that this will be a very interesting trip. Karachi it would appear is not a very pleasant city and is known to be dangerous for westerners. Thankfully all my travel arrangements have been well planned and I will be driven from the airport by someone from the company I am working for. I'll not be in Karachi for long and we'll be mostly working further north in the cotton growing regions.
My journey to Pakistan is on Gulf Airways via Muscat in Oman. So yet another country to add to the list I've visited recently. The clickable links below provide various maps of the area and places I'll be going.

Karachi to Bahawalpur
Google provide really detailed maps of the area, but no place names. So have a look at the link below to see the land at Bahawalpur. This can be zoomed to incredible detail.

Once I get to where I'm going I'll post more information here. Hopefully lots of photos of it too. I am sure there will be many stories to tell.
