Bishopstone Easter Bonnet Parade

Yesterday I took the day off work to watch the annual Bishopstone Easter Bonnet parade to the church. Mabel was hoping to win but didn't. I think hers was the only green hat in a sea of yellow.

It was lovely watching the kids smiling in their hats as they walked to church. The service itself was beautiful, Mabel had to do her first ever solo reading. I was right near the back and couldn't quite hear the poem she had written.

I recorded some sound during the service and overlaid it on the bonnet parade. Its shown below. Sound quality isn't very good, but you can clearly hear Millie joining in the singing!
