Back home to Leicester...

Before I lived where I do now I lived in Leicester. In fact I lived there from when I was 19yrs old until I was 30. So for quite a long time.

My first 2 children were born there, I met my wife there, I got my degrees there, I was mugged and robbed there. In fact it played a big part in my life for a long time.

Oddly I've only been back once in all that time since then (nearly 12yrs), today I went back for the second time. This time to a conference in the Leicester City football ground. Wow - the place has changed a lot in nearly 12 years.

I took some photos of the houses I used to live in. Liz and I had a couple of lovely houses there until we moved away. Both are currently empty - one for let and the other for sale.

This was our first house No. 4 Albert Road.

And our second at 106 Avenue Road Extension.
